AVIAN by nature

Exhibition Theme: Bon & Lee explore the relationships between Domestic and Wild animals and their symbiotic and fundamental existences within contemporary lives and culture. Food sustainability, cohabitation of wild/domestic animals and humans, permaculture, reclamation of materials “waste to wonder”, are the basic founding considerations for this show.

Medium of Art: Sculpture from reclaimed industrial/biological waste materials, relief works in burnt reclaimed flooring, industrial conveyor belting, plaster, photography, and paintings in oil.

General: The show “Avian by nature” will exhibit new works that are created by Bon and Lee individually and as collaborative works. Living creative lives together for 25 years and having fundamentally different styles and execution practices, Bon and Lee are very innately influenced by the everyday shared experiences and art practices.
