A cool and casual cottage filled with contempoarry art produced by the hosts and artists friends.
The place is best suited for two people, but there is a pull out latex couch and bedding.

Goldmoss Grounds

Set amidst large cedars and firs in the rainforest we made it our goal to work consciously towards establishing a natural eco system that supports wildlife, providing food sources integrated with existing native species.

Supporting Wildlife
Lily pond, large evergreen cedars, firs, and arbutus tree, mushrooms and ferns, wild berries, native ornamental and edible greens.

Food Sources
Soft fruit, orchard, medicinal and culinary herbs, organic vegetable gardens.

Native and Mediterranean plants
Fig, yucca, succulents, sedumss, lavender, St. johns wort, sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme, marjoram, salal, huckleberry, wild strawberry.

Apples, pears, cherries, plums, champagne currents, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, salal berries, huckleberries .

Organic vegetable gardens
Heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, swiss chard, pole and bush beans, mixed salad greens, squashes, eggplant, potatoes, onions.

Edible flowers
Calendula, borage, chamomile, chives, edible daylily, squash blossom, violets, rose, violet nasturtium, pansy.

Stellar jays, winter wren, pelated woodpecker, chickadee, varied thrush, rufous hummingbird, ravens, eagles.

Forested walking trails
Community green trail from back gate leading to a foot bridge with seating overlooking Malcolm Creek.


Local Beach
Just a few minutes walk to the beach though a green trail.
